Sverdlovsk Official Takes 52 Loans and Declares Bankruptcy
Valentina Aleskovskaya, an inspector from the Regulatory Authority of the Rezhevsky City District, has taken out a total of 52 loans and has filed for bankruptcy in the Arbitration Court of the Sverdlovsk Region. This information was reported by Ura.ru, citing sources.

According to the agency, Aleskovskaya owes a total of 1,716,660 rubles. In the fall of 2023, she approached the court requesting to be declared bankrupt, citing low wages and job cuts as reasons for her financial difficulties.

The court ruled in favor of Aleskovskaya and initiated the bankruptcy procedure, which is still ongoing. However, a resident of Rezha filed a complaint with the prosecutor’s office, alleging that Aleskovskaya took out the loans with the intention of deliberately declaring bankruptcy. After conducting an investigation, the supervisory authority concluded that there were no grounds for prosecutorial action to be taken.

In a separate incident, a resident of Volgograd missed a payment on a microloan by two days and lost his home. The property, valued at three million rubles, was pledged as collateral and would be transferred to the company in case of a loan default lasting 31 days or more.
