Sergei Yuran, the head coach of the Russian Premier League club «Pari Nizhny Novgorod», - expressed his shock at his conditional disqualification and fine for using foul language after the match against «Krasnodar». «I am a little shocked by this whole story. They gave me a 50,000 ruble fine, a two-game conditional suspension, and another year conditionally — for what? For one swear word that slipped out in the heat of the moment?» Yuran told «Chempionat». Yuran apologized for his actions, stating, «But it wasn’t even directed at anyone personally! It was just a curse word used as an interjection. Players also curse in the heat of the moment, both on and off the field — should they be punished for that too?» The coach added that he was simply «talking to himself» as he walked.

Yuran noted that he understands when disqualifications are based on referee, delegate, or RFU inspector reports — official figures. However, in his case, none of that was present. «There was only some video from a phone, taken from somewhere far away», - the coach remarked. Additionally, Yuran stated that he will now have to limit his comments during flash interviews and press conferences, for which he preemptively apologized to journalists. «Pari NN» lost to «Krasnodar» (3:4) on April 6 in the 23rd round of the RPL. Yuran expressed his dissatisfaction in foul language in the tunnel after midfielder Alexander Chernikov of the Kuban club did not receive a second yellow card for stepping on the foot of Pari NN defender Viktor Alexandrov. Yuran questioned what the referees were afraid of and called them «opossums». As a result, the RFU’s Control and Disciplinary Committee disqualified the coach for two games conditionally with a one-year probationary period and fined him 50,000 rubles.
