German authorities have disrupted the planned delivery of 400 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) armored vehicles for the Ukrainian Armed Forces this year, Bild reports. Minister Pistorius, following a meeting in the «Ramshtain» format in mid-March, announced Germany’s support for Ukraine, specifically mentioning the delivery of 100 infantry fighting vehicles. The Ministry of Defense clarified to Bild that these are MRAP vehicles from the German arms company Flensburg, and stated that, according to their information, all vehicles are expected to be delivered by 2024.
